In the snow-covered streets of Sapporo, Christmas is a time of colorful illumination and festive cheer. But for university student Jun, it’s a tough reminder of the slippery car crash he was in where he lost his mother 10 years earlier. Since then, his father, Kazuya, has buried himself in his snow plowing business and their annual volunteering at Sapporo’s Munich Christmas Market, a place cherished by his late wife. Each trapped in his own grief, the true essence of Christmas—hope and love—seems to have melted away.

Until this year, new encounters at the Christmas market set them on an unexpected journey of healing and faith. The arrival of Binh, a lively visitor from Vietnam, challenges Jun to view the world anew. Simultaneously, Kazuya meets a warm-hearted postcard seller at the market, stirring emotions he thought long dormant.
